Check Your Usage and Credit Balance

Last updated: 2026-10-28

You can check the current cumulative usage and cost breakdown for items subject to usage-based billing.

1. This Month’s Usage Dashboard

The breakdown of charges and deductions is as follows.

Charges = Base fee + Usage charges

Deductions = Free tier deduction (e.g., a 10GB free tier for data storage on the Standard plan) + Credit balance (automatically applied to your usage)

The dashboard shows your current plan, plus the following items.

Displayed itemContent
Usage periodThe period covered by this month’s billing (YYYY/M/D – YYYY/M/D, shown in UTC)
Usage (month to date)Your cumulative usage for the month; the estimated billable amount before the free tier deduction is subtracted
ChargesBase fee, Usage charges
DeductionsFree tier deduction (e.g., a 10GB free tier for data storage on the Standard plan), Credit balance (automatically applied to your usage)
Usage charges breakdownAI Agent Executions, Data Storage, Data Ingestion (estimated cost also shown)
Cost alert settings (if configured)Threshold, current additional charges (after discount)

Items subject to usage-based charges (the usage charges breakdown) are as follows.

ItemContent
AI Agent Executions (count)The cumulative number of executions this month and the estimated cost
Data Storage (approx. GB)The average based on the total number of days in the calendar month (shown lower than the true value early in the month, converging toward it as the month progresses), and the estimated cost
Data Ingestion (count)The breakdown and percentage by integration, and the estimated cost

Specifications for cost aggregation and display units are as follows.

  • Usage costs are aggregated daily and shown as an organization-wide total combining the base fee and usage-based charges (this figure does not yet reflect the free tier deduction or credit application — see your invoice at month-end for the actual amount after credit is applied).
  • The breakdown of additional charges, including usage-based charges, is shown as an organization-wide (total) aggregate; a per-project breakdown is not supported.

*To check official rates and unit prices, including each plan’s base fee, usage-based unit prices, and free tier (the 10GB free tier above is an illustrative example), please contact us via the dedicated contact form (https://www.jig-saw.com/service/lorelai/contact/). *To check usage-based activity in detail, such as each Agent’s execution history or ingestion counts per integration, check the relevant feature screens.

A note on final billing

The amount shown on the dashboard (Usage (month to date)) is an estimated cost as of the time you check it. For your actual invoice amount, please check the invoice issued at month-end, which reflects the free tier deduction and credit application.

Note that executions run for testing purposes (dry runs) are tallied separately from actual executions and are not subject to billing.

For organizations billed through AWS Marketplace

If your organization is billed through AWS Marketplace, cost figures (base fee, usage charges, deductions, estimated cost) are not shown. The underlying usage itself (execution counts, data storage volume, data ingestion counts, etc.) is shown under “This month’s usage” on the “Billing” page of Organization Settings (Owners and members with the Billing role only). Check AWS Marketplace’s own billing information for your actual charges. For details, see Subscribing Through AWS Marketplace.

2. How Data Storage Volume Is Calculated, and Its Breakdown Categories

Your data storage volume is calculated as a monthly average (in GB), based on the total number of days in the calendar month. The breakdown categories are as follows.

  • Detection-related data
  • Alert-related data
  • Incident-related data
  • Other

*Currently, Audit Log data is not included in the billable storage volume. *The breakdown by data type (detection, alert, incident, etc.) is not shown on screen; only the organization-wide total is available.

3. Usage by Integration

For each integration, you can check the data ingestion count, its share of the breakdown (e.g., CloudTrail 93%, CloudWatch 7%, etc.), and the resulting estimated cost for the month.

*A per-integration breakdown is not provided for data storage volume (only the overall total storage volume is available).

Who can view this is as follows.

RoleWhat they can view
Organization Owner / BillingThe per-integration data ingestion count, breakdown percentage, and estimated cost on the billing dashboard (usage charges breakdown).
All project membersThis month’s ingestion count on each integration’s detail screen (viewing the estimated cost requires the organization’s Owner or Billing role).

4. Displaying Your Credit Balance

If you have credit granted through an initial incentive, a campaign, or similar, it is shown on the dashboard as “Credit balance” under “Deductions” and is automatically applied (as a discount) to your usage charges for the month.

Limitations

  • Data storage volume is not broken down per integration; only the organization-wide total is available.
